FAQ
Is it really free to post and to accept?
Yes. There is no listing fee and no fee to accept a trip. A commission applies only once a trip is completed and paid through the platform.
How does the cancellation deposit work?
An operator that does not guarantee a trip's pay leaves a small refundable hold. If the trip runs, the deposit is credited toward the platform fee. If the operator cancels late, it helps compensate the pilot for the lost booking.
What does "Pay secured" mean?
When an operator books a crew member, it secures that person's pay โ in full, or half now and the balance by the start of the trip. The money is held by our payment processor and released to the crew member when the trip is completed. Crew see a "Pay secured" badge on the booking. If an operator misses a funding deadline the crew member is told and may withdraw with no penalty; nobody is removed from a trip automatically.
Can one trip need more than one crew member?
Yes. A trip can need 1 to 3 pilots (each as PIC or SIC) and 0 to 2 flight attendants. Each position has its own day rate, its own applicants, its own booking and its own payout; the trip shows "2 of 3 positions filled" until every position is booked.
Do you take a cut of my day rate?
No. Pilots set their own rate and it is not marked up. The platform fee is charged on the operator side.
Who is responsible for vetting and insurance?
The operator. Jabez FL180 verifies credentials and identity as a first screen, but the operator retains operational control and remains responsible for its own final checks, insurance coverage, and any required Pilot Records Database review.
What aircraft and operations are supported at launch?
The first cohort is focused on business aircraft โ corporate flight departments and on-demand operators filling contract captain, SIC and flight attendant positions.
